 Thanks for visiting! ILLAWARRA YOUNGER VETERANS GROUP is situated in a quiet, rural setting in the country town of Jamberoo on the south coast approximately 20 minutes south of Wollongong. The group is based in the Kiama/ Jamberoo RSL hall directly opposite the Jamberoo Pub. The hall was kindly offered to us to use for the sole purpose of assisting veterans and their families. Also located within the building are some very skilled advocates from the Illawarra Veterans Entitlement Services (IVES) who are very dedicated to assisting veterans of all ages. In addition, they help the veteran/ serving/ ex-serving member to understand their entitlements and the requirements to complete compensation claims, and will only act under the claiment's directions. The building has a dual purpose. Not only does it provide a location where the serving/ ex-serving person can relax and socialise, but it is also an area where they can seek out any information relating to their health and wellbeing, and/ or entitlements. Everyone is welcome to drop in for a cuppa at the Veterans R & R Centre regardless of service or gender. With a variety of offerings to choose from, we're sure you'll be happy with our hospitality.
